About Us
The San Antonio Speech, Hearing and Language Association (SASHLA) is a non profit organization, which is run by volunteer speech-language pathologists and/or audiologists.

By paying the annual membership dues you become a member. Membership begins in August of the year you enroll and continues until the following July. 
Your annual dues: 
- allow you to attend the Fall & Spring TSHA approved CEU conferences. 
- provide you with a registration discount for the Summer TSHA approved CEU conference.  
- fund a scholarship for a local graduate student in the field of speech pathology 
- fund a grant for a local CFY candidate in the field of speech pathology/audiology. 
- support the Texas Speech-Language Hearing Association & our local community.

 We invite you to become part of our growing association!

Mission Statement

  • Sponsor continuing education and professional growth in the fields of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
  • Foster community awareness about communication disorders and provide education regarding prevention and treatment
  • Represent our professions at the local and state levels
  • Facilitate networking amongst professions
